Privacy

This page covers two things: this website, and the Bupsy app. Last updated 12 October 2026.

This website

No tracking. No analytics, no advertising pixels and no cookies.
The download. Bupsy is free, and the download asks for your email address. We keep your email address, which form you used, the country Cloudflare saw the request come from, the time, whether you ticked the box for the monthly email, and how many times you have downloaded and when you last did. That is all. There is no account and we don't verify the address.
What we use it for. To count downloads, and, only if you ticked the box, to send you one email a month about what's new. If you didn't tick it, we send you nothing. Ticking it on a later download turns it on; downloading again without ticking it doesn't turn it off. If you joined the waitlist before Bupsy was out, we keep the details you gave then, and the monthly email stays off unless you tick it. It is all stored in a database in our Cloudflare account. We do not sell or share it.
Hosting. The site runs on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes requests to serve the site, as any host does.
Messages. If you write to us on the contact page, we keep your name if you give it, your email address, your message, the country and the time, to answer you by email.
Leaving the list. Write to us on the contact page, or reply to any email from us, and we will delete your address, or just stop the monthly email if that's all you want.

No Bupsy account and no Bupsy server. Your bots, chats, routines and settings are stored on your Mac.
No telemetry. The app does not report what you do.
Your AI sign-in stays with the CLI. Claude Code and Codex keep their own credentials. Bupsy starts them, but never reads or stores those credentials.
Your prompts go to your AI provider. When a bot works, the CLI you chose sends your messages and the files it reads to Anthropic or OpenAI under your own account and their terms, exactly as it would if you ran it yourself.
Your other devices. Using Bupsy from your phone or another Mac is off until you turn it on. It works only over your own private Tailscale network, never the public internet, and every device must be paired on your Mac first.
Connected tools. Apps you connect, such as Gmail or Notion, are reached through tools you set up. Their keys stay with those tools.

Bupsy is made by Xocket Labs Inc. For anything about your data, email [email protected] or write to us on the contact page.
